BSE Sensex provisionally closes up 1.1 pct

MUMBAI (Reuters) – The BSE Sensex (^BSESN : 10967.22 0) provisionally rose 1.1 percent on Monday, extending gains for a seventh consecutive session as they tracked a broad rally across world markets on improving optimism about the global economy.
The 30-share BSE index provisionally ended up 122.47 points at 10,926.33, with 18 stocks advancing.
The 50-share NSE (^NSEI : 3382.6 +40.55) index provisionally closed up 0.8 percent at 3,366.95.
